Offering area youth a creative outlet and opportunity to understand the
rich Mvskoke agricultural and food heritage
Honoring
the Elders
Preserving the stories, knowledge and memories of our Elders for future
generations
Teaching Skills
Youth will learn communication and technical skills including
interviewing, video and audio recording techniques, editing, writing
and photography
Learning
From Experts
Native American film professionals Brian Frejo, Sterlin Harjo and
Gerald Wofford will be involved in training and production of
the
Film
Marketing
Opportunity
Youth will design advertising and marketing strategies for the Film and
Film Booklet
Film
Festival
Film will debut at a Food Film Festival in the Spring of 2008
Raising
Food Awareness
All participants will gain a greater knowledge of the Mvskoke Food
Heritage and respect for the vital role of food in our lives
